About the Role:

We are seeking a Mobile Developer to join our Digital Client Experience team. Working in close collaboration with colleagues you will be responsible for our hybrid mobile development, working in agile with our digital client experience team consisting of designers, developers, and product folks.

Specific to this role, it is essential to combine deep technical and collaboration skills, the ability to deliver work to a high-quality standard, and to exhibit excellent virtual communication skills. Interest in and practice of mindfulness is an important requirement to fit our organizational culture.

We are looking for someone who can commit to 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This position is ideally suited to someone in the GMT/CET.

Please note that this is a self-employed role.

Areas of Priority:

  • Participate in the entire software lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
  • Write clean code to develop cross-platform mobile app for Android and iOS platforms
  • Troubleshoot and debug mobile apps
  • Collaborate with Back-end developers to integrate content providing services
  • Gather and address technical and design requirements
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Collaborate with designers and product owner on defining possible solutions

Qualifications and Experience:

Technical Skills:

  • At least 2 years of mobile development experience
  • Experience with Ionic, React Native or similar cross-platform tools, preferably Ionic
  • Literal in JavaScript and Typescript
  • Proficient in implementing UI and UX based on designs
  • Good understanding of Front-End Development Technologies, e.g. HTML5, CSS3, Angular, Vue, Ionic
  • Good experience consuming Rest APIs
  • Good experience with mobile app building and testing for both Android and iOS
  • Nice to have experience with Firebase and App Analytics
  • Nice to have experience Node.js Express Framework
  • Knowledge in User Authentication and Authorization
