About the Role:

A product designer is responsible for the user experience of a product, usually taking direction on the business goals and objectives from product management. With a passion for finding solutions throughout the entire product development process, a Product Designer is skilled within the fields of customer research, discovery, customer journey mapping, wire framing, prototyping and visual design as well as interaction design and usability testing. 

We are seeking a Product Designer who defines and harmonizes the user experience of our entire product landscape, to join our virtual global team. The ideal candidate should have experience in each stage of the design process but is always focused on the needs of the customer.

You will work with our agile team members and closely to the product management that will rely heavily on both qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions towards a shared product vision.

Specific to this role, it is essential to be service oriented and have a strong attention to detail, the ability to deliver work to a high-quality standard and to exhibit excellent virtual communication skills.

Interest in and practice of mindfulness is an important requirement to fit our organizational culture.

We are looking for someone who can commit to 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This position is ideally suited to someone in the Central European Time Zone.

Areas of Priority:

  • Identify opportunities for new products and functionalities along with product management team
  • Set design requirements based on information from internal teams and user research
  • Present high quality product design ideas to product teams and senior leadership
  • Rapidly experiment how a new product and feature ties in with consumer needs
  • Design and facilitate product discovery workshops
  • Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
  • Create design concepts and sketches to determine the best product and function
  • Produce sketches, wireframe and prototypes for validation
  • Create global design guidelines for the digital landscape
  • Improve and harmonize the design of existing products
  • Gather feedback from product users
  • Work closely with product engineers to suggest improvements for products and processes

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in all phases of the design process including customer research, discovery, customer journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping and visual design, interaction design, and usability testing.
  • An intuitive eye for customer needs beyond the obvious
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to collect and interpret both qualitative and quantitative feedback
  • A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives
  • Ability to effectively communicate and persuade around design concepts
  • Passion for design; not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve
  • Demonstrates a passionate approach in offering the highest service to our facilitators and clients
  • Demonstrates a highly collaborative, service oriented, team-player mind-set
  • Can thrive working independently in a virtual, global organization
  • An excellent level of English, both spoken and written
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn
  • Having a daily personal meditation practice
  • Your location is ideally in a CET time zone
  • A commitment of 35 hours a week, Monday through Friday
